Tom Simpson shaped 20th-century golf architecture through strategic design, natural land use, and respect for the landscape.
A desert-style golf course features precise, hardline irrigation design that clearly defines irrigation limits and concentrates water use exclusively on turf areas.
Tees are conceived as turf islands, minimizing irrigated surfaces, reducing water consumption, and maximizing operational efficiency.
The overall design is driven by sustainability principles and a strong commitment to water-use efficiency.
On a golf course, elevation changes, vegetation and obstacles cannot be fully identified on a map. Directly transposing the GPS coordinates of the sprinklers without on-site observation can greatly reduce the efficiency of the irrigation system.
This is why the layout must be adapted to the terrain, in close collaboration with the Head Greenkeeper, the irrigation manager and the team leader of the installation company.
Teamwork, precision in the field and adaptation to the realities of the site are the keys to a successful irrigation system.

We are assisting Le Havre Golf Club with the complete renovation of its irrigation system, installing a single cable system that allows each sprinkler to be managed individually.
This technology ensures better playability by optimising course conditions, while reducing water consumption through more efficient and precise management.
Marking the sprinkler positions is the most important stage of the project: it ensures that the irrigation design is perfectly adapted to the characteristics of the terrain, guaranteeing uniform water distribution and limiting the impact on play.
Performance, sustainability and innovation at the service of golf.
At Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, we continue to move forward with the expansion of the course, adding 9 new holes that will uphold the quality and prestige of this iconic venue.
Our team has completed the staking of the irrigation system, ensuring precise implementation adapted to the unique characteristics of the terrain. This stage is essential to guarantee optimal coverage, water efficiency, and seamless integration with the course design.
Another step towards a modern, sustainable irrigation system that meets the highest standards of international golf.
